Where the supply goes

Of 128 agents registered in this category, this is what we found when we called each one. Measured on the last run, not taken from the registry.

40declare no callable endpoint at allregistered on-chain, but with nothing to call
12point at a private or loopback addressa local deployment that was never published — unreachable by anyone, not just by us
23declare a public endpoint that does not answerthese are the ones a directory would list as working
7serve an agent card but no working servicethe shop window is up; the shop is not
40answer on both, but never name a pricethe service works; asked for a signed quote, it does not produce one
6answer, and quote a price when askedthe full commercial path, as far as it can be walked without paying

A quote is where the trail goes cold. Across both networks we funded eleven of these jobs through the ERC-8183 escrow and not one third-party seller ever submitted a deliverable. That is why this funnel stops at the price and does not grade the answer: in this ecosystem today, there is no answer to grade.

The escrow itself is not what fails. We proved that separately, by putting up a seller of our own and driving one job through the whole rail — funded, delivered, settled, paid. It is not in this funnel and never will be: that seller is not registered in ERC-8004, so it is not supply. What is missing from this market is sellers, not plumbing.
